Painting with wool
Another craft that we lately enjoy a lot is painting with wool. You need a frame and different wool bits, depending on what you want to create. You work in fine layers of wool on the wooden background plate of the frame. Start with the background. Details are added at the end. When your painting is complete, press the glass and the frame on your painting and close the frame. Ready is a very lovely gift or home decoration. In letzter Zeit “malen” wir auch gern Wollbilder. Filzgemüse
As it has been great weather those days, I enjoyed some felting while the kids played outside. I made some carrots, herbs and yarns, just for fun. I like to make those small things because I haven’t the patience and time for more complicated things, although I really like them. Bei diesem schönen Wetter habe ich die Zeit genutzt, draussen ein bisschen zu filzen während die Kinder im Garten spielen. Heraus gekommen sind nur Kleinigkeiten. Möhrchen, Schnittlauch und Filzschnüre zum Spielen. Für größere Sachen fehlt mir Zeit und Geduld.

Quick Easter Craft
If you feel like crafting a bit for easter, here is some nice idea I did with my daughter. You need some coloured wax plates (from Stockmar) and egg shaped (or other) candles. Cut the plates into pieces and form them as desired. Now just glue them (without glue) to the candle. The Wax is easier to form when warmed up in your hands in small pieces. So you can make patterns, ornaments or little pictures on the candle. Wer noch eine nette Osterbastelidee braucht: Mit Wachsplatten (zB von Stockmar) kann man gut Eierkerzen verzieren.
