This weeks created byhand challenge is “music” A while ago I got a lovely music swap from my dear friend Annax. Now, weeks later, I finally managed to fullfill my part of the bargain. And off it goes to France with a bunch of other surprises. Happy Autumn!

Calligraphy Exchange :: Butterflies
To get into calligraphy again, I signed up for a bunch of swaps via Calligraphy Exchange. I got 2 beautyful envelopes and sent out 2. Note to self: Calligraphy doesn’t work with 2 noisy children hopping around. Das schöne am Post verschicken ist, daß man auch Post bekommt.Um wieder bisschen kalligrafisch tätig zu werden, habe ich mich über Calligraphy Exchange bei diversen Swaps angemeldet. Den Beginn macht das Thema Schmetterlinge. 2 Umschläge verschicken, 2 Umschläge bekommen. Merke: Kalligrafie funktioniert nicht in erwarteter Qualität, wenn man Kinder um sich herumhüpfen und quengeln hat.

I got mail! Real snailmail. Two parcels with lovely content. One was from the farbic swap at Sandras blog and one was plant dyed wool from a lovely woman who traded a book of my flea market list into handspun & hand dyed wool. *** Heut häng ich hier nur rum. Schlurfe vom Bett zum Sofa und zurück. Ok, ich hab Wäsche aufgehangen. Aber mehr ist nicht drin. Mein Körper fordert wohl mal wieder Ruhe ein. Ich glaube, ich hab eine Brustentzündung. Oder sowas. Stellenweise tut die weh, gestern hatte ich Gliederschmerzen und Mattigkeit. Machmer also mal einen Gang langsamer und schreiben über was schönes, gelle?! Ich hab nämlich Poschd…
